Snapshots of Success: A Gallery of Big Papa Hundo

    Big Papa Hundo

    Big Papa Hundo

    Our history

Big Papa Hundo has been honored to provide life saving fireproofing and fire prevention services and education to the most iconic buildings and institutions in the United States.

He served as the President of the International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association where he made certain that every single exhaust system service technician was the focus, because they are doing heroic work. They save the First Responders.

Behind the scenes Big Papa Hundo was an advocate and activist for medical and recreational marijuana.

Big Papa Hundo has long suffered a variety of conditions for which medical marijuana was extremely effective in treating and managing.

BIG PAPA HUNDO DOES NOT ADVOCATE USING MARIJUANA WHEN ENGAGING IN YOUR OCCUPATION UNLESS EVERYONE IS AWARE AND APPROVES AND IT IS WITHIN YOUR COMPANY GUIDELINES

I have this to say about that.....

I was absolutely stone cold sober when servicing kitchen exhaust systems and you should be too.

Being at the top of Freedom Tower, or the Wynn Las Vegas, or lets say... the STRATOSPHERE TOWER.......

    Working with HIGH CAUSTIC CHEMICALS

Working with HIGH PRESSURE POWERWASH EQUIPMENT

Working on LADDERS LIFTS AND HANGING DOWN A HIGH RISE VERTICAL EXHAUST DUCT IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN is NOT the place where I consider RELAXING.

Once I finished my responsibilities I chose safe medical consumption to treat my medical conditions.

    I LOVE OUR FIRST RESPONDERS

My love for fire prevention and those who engage in it is so strong that I took an oath to never take my medication again if I was selected as a Fire Inspector with Golder Ranch Fire Department.

I stopped my medication with THC months prior to the application and was prepared to be FIT FOR DUTY every single MOMENT for the REST OF MY LIFE.

Luckily there was an incredible talent pool and I was not selected for the role.

Having stopped my THC medication and switched to what was given to me by the medical system my health rapidly deteriorated.

I lost the ability to walk and my will to live.

I decided that if the medication they were giving me was making me prefer death over life, there was truly no point to either.

So I did what I knew and put my life on the line by stopping all medication except Rick Simpson Oil.

Today I am able to walk. In fact I JUMP.

I am however ABSOLUTELY UNFIT FOR DUTY and will continue to be as such.

I SALUTE ALL OF THOSE WHO ARE FIT FOR DUTY AND LOVE EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE FIRST RESPONDERS FOR WHAT YOU DO EVERY MOMENT OF EVERY DAY.

    THANK YOU!

    Our Present

Putting my GOOD where it will do the MOST

Wavy Gravy has been teaching us how we can make the world a little better every single day.

I am not Jack Grace who is Dying any longer

for as long as I remain I am

Big Papa Hundo who is LIVING

I am currently working to raise awareness for what matters most and what is keeping me alive. Closets are not a good environment.

I am from a time in American History where ONE SEED was a felony, being queer was in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of mental disorders, and it was believed that AIDS was spread by sitting on a toilet seat

My perspective is a little different

It is terrifying to know that stigma and legal problems block access for patients to medical marijuana.

It is disheartening to know that stigma and legal problems block access for PEOPLE to smoke a little grass man.....

It is time to END STIGMA

    HONEST CONVERSATIONS SOLVE PROBLEMS

TO BE CLEAR - THERE IS NO ENDORSEMENT OF MARIJUANA BY ANY CHARITIBLE ORGANIZATION OR COMPANY THAT I WORK TO SUPPORT

What I am doing is putting my GOOD where it will do the MOST to support the causes that I believe can have the MOST GOOD impact to ensure the world keeps getting a little better every single day!

I am sharing my message that I am ALIVE TODAY and LOVE BEING ALIVE because of Medical Marijuana. I ENJOY life more with RECREATIONAL MARIJUANA.

    If your MEDICINE

    Makes you HAPPY

    Improves your QUALITY of LIFE

    THAT SHOULD BE THE POINT

Look at what we have done to TEACH people to love each other no matter their skin color, their religious faith, their CHOICE TO USE MARIJUANA or their CHOICE TO CHOOSE NOT TO USE MARIJUANA, their sexual orientation and gender identity...... The WORLD HAS CHANGED FOR THE GOOD IN SO MANY WAY BUT THE WORK IS NEVER DONE!

It is THEREFORE the RESPONSIBILITY of those of us who are facing the end of our time to make sure the NEXT GENERATIONS know the history, understand how to make positive change and how to Put their GOOD where it does the MOST!

For 23 years I have been BLESSED to know so many wonderful friends and family of the Hog Farm Family

I have been honored to share the message of the good that SEVA and CAMP WINNARAINBOW have done for the world

Reminder - Camp Winnarainbow is a Circus and Performing arts camp for CHILDREN. Big Papa Hundo says KEEP KIDS KIDS and TEACH YOUR CHILDREN WELL. They are ALL MIRACLES.....

    Oh Yeah.....

    Miracle Cassidy Grace

Was first seen on Ultrasound on August 9, 1995

I will never forget coming home from seeing Miracle for the first time and there were 13 messages on my answering machine.....

    Jerry Garcia Passed away

    Bob Weir played Bombs Away

    On January 31, 1996

    Miracle Cassidy Grace was born

In order to care for my little family I moved from Tucson Arizona to a town with a smaller population but what I believed a LOT of potential....

    Las Vegas Nevada

I was given 24 hours in December of 1996 to fly to Las Vegas with my daughter and at that time partner to find a place to live.

I picked a place even though where I would be working geographically had not yet been disclosed and took us all

TO THE TOP OF THE STRATOSPHERE TOWER

To dine at the Top of the World

I didn't have much, but I wanted to give them Las Vegas

Ironically the apartment I selected (Mostly because of the giant BATHTUB.... yeah total PISCES...)

I found out that the business was on the same block

    Excellent luck

    777

Though I was in my early 20's I supported a family of four on my salary and my partner worked on getting educated

I continued to be as active as I could in the causes I believed in and sneaking off to Amsterdam to learn how we could get the rest of the world to understand that if we are open and honest about marijuana society will improve not destruct

As the internet became a thing I was able to find what Wavy Gravy was up to and immediate knew that was the place where the MOST GOOD was happening

So yes there is a LOT MORE WHY AND HOW BUT WHO

    and its

    MIRACLE CASSIDY ROSSO

    NOW BY THE WAY

Anyhow... yeah she knows whats up whats up with CAMP WINNARAINBOW

So I am STILL ALIVE in '25

SPREADING MY MESSAGE that I am ALIVE to do GOOD because of MARIJUANA - ABSOLUTELY NOT endorsing ANYONE do ANYTHING but what is RIGHT for THEM.

Whatever you do you make sure its the right thing for you but if you pass please allow us to roll around in the grass because its time its 420 24 7 365 - As told to me by KELLER WILLIAMS (NOT the REALTOR the FREAKER BY THE SPEAKER!)

So as I travel and share where people can learn about WAVY and JAH and SEVA and CAMP in my remaining days (be it long or short we never know) I am going to auction off my TOUR shoes that so far have

    JUMPED TO WAVY AND JAH

JUMPED OFF THE STRATOSPHERE THREE TIMES IN THREE DAYS

JUMPED OVER TO THE MOST AMAZING AND INFLUENTIAL PEOPLE I KNOW TO SHARE THE MESSAGE OF GOOD AND TRY TO RAISE SOME FUNDS TO THANK WAVY AND JAH FOR ALL THEY HAVE DONE FOR ALL OF HUMANITY

Whats Up Whats Up with this Camp Thingy?????

    Resilience and RESISTENCE

Big Papa Hundo is ALIVE, NO THANKS TO the facility refusing his life saving medication. Big Papa Hundo has had incidents of depression and has been deeply saddened to find that the very cause he has fought for SAFE LEGAL ACCESS TO MEDICAL MARIJUANA was denied to him with no just cause.

Big Papa Hundo is if nothing else RESILIENT

    He took your punches

You tried to keep him down

You will not SHUT HIM UP

Big Papa Hundo is ALIVE in '25 Touring the world sharing his storied of inspiration and victories of the Marijuana Legalization movement and those who have worked to make the world a little better.

All that negative energy clashes with every outfit.

Big Papa Hundo is ALIVE in '25

He is looking forward to meeting you and hearing YOUR stories

Did I mention I am QUEER? Yes Big Papa Hundo is gay.

    oh yeah.....

you never know where Big Papa Hundo might jump feet first into but keep your eyes to the skies especially if you are at lets just say a concert with an INCREDIBLE MIND BLOWING light show sometime and next thing you know ....

    OOOOOOMMMMMM Pa....

    Oh I mean

    BIG PAPA

    BIG PAPA

    BIG PA-PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH.....

    Sun your bulldog

    If you KNOW you KNOW

    You Know?

    Catch that little hint there???

NOTHING TO SEE HERE MOVE ALONG

    Get a Quote

    Hold Up Hold UP

Camp is for KIDS..... but you are talking about MARIJUANA!

WHAT THE HAPPY HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU BIG PAPA?

Well, I have some medical conditions as y'all know.... but what you are actually asking is VALID and should be adressed QUITE CLEARLY

I have worked to NORMLize and Legalize Marijuana and I believe we need to have HONEST conversations in order to be AUTHENTIC in our LIVES

The world has changed thank GOODNESS and WAVY and JAHANARA and YOU!

No longer is Marijuana the scourge of society that it was painted to be

Adults should have the right to make the choice to use or not use marijuana just the same as they have the choice to use or not use salt

It is no longer acceptable to treat Marijuana as TABOO

    Say Marijuana

    Say it with me

    Feels good right?

    Feels RIGHT RIGHT?

Yeah that is more like it.

Adults in our society have a medical need or a recreational wish and if they are ADULTS that should be their right.

Parents, trust me I know, can sometimes really use a joint...... that should in my opinion be about as big of a deal as sometimes salting their French fries

When we treat the act of consuming Marijuana as taboo, when we hide the truth we are not in my opinion teaching our children well

If you want your children to believe you start by telling the truth

I do not believe that children should be consuming recreational marijuana but if a child has a medical need there is simply no better medication other than laughter

I also believe that the way we teach is by having HONEST conversations

    END STIGMA

The is NOTHING WRONG with Enjoying Marijuana

So in summary it is my belief that it is time for HONEST conversations about Marijuana. My life depends on it so yeah I feel strongly about it

I also believe that KIDS should be KIDS

No one that I do work for charitable or otherwise endorses the use of Marijuana unless you hear differently from them, my message is a personal one and not the opinion of anyone else

The cause that I am trying to help is funding the camp where my children were campers, teen staff, counselors and have gained a lifetime of positive messages and lessons from

I believe the work of the Hog Farm Family and Friends is truly the GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH

Therefore as I have had to face everyday being perhaps my last, I wanted to help ensure the future of an organization that helps kids become better adults

So yeah, no weed at camp kids.

    Sorry, Not SORRY!

Y'all are smart enough and dedicated enough to read all that then you UNDERSTAND

Thank you sincerely for supporting my efforts to support Camp

      JOY & HOPE

"My BELOVED Vans Hot Pink Still ALIVE in '25 TOUR "JUMPERS" have been the most fun little campers I have yet encountered!"

BIG PAPA HUNDO is currently wearing Joy and Hope, a clown joke on the name of th GRACE AND JOY SCHOLARSHIP FUND OF WAVY GRAVY and JAHANARA ROMNEY'S CAMP WINNARAINBOW.

"The joke is that I called my kicks Joy and hope rather than grace and joy... I then played the joke on to state that I renamed Joy because my name used to be Grace and my daughter's name used to be Grace and so we just renamed Grace to Joy but actually the joke is that it was hope all along that was a replacement for Grace as a joke and there's a lot more complexity to it beyond that but it's a joke that's really complex or something" stated Hundo.

The shoes have made three jumps off the stratosphere Tower, founded the Grateful living intentional community, established Big Papa Hundo Island, cleaned up the Eel River, met over 10,000 people telling them the story of Wavy Gravy, made a 1200 mile drive for raising awareness for marijuana patients, were shown at the Brooklyn Chop House Times Square for Halloween, and so much more that y'all don't know yet... The shoes will be auctioned off with all funds raised going to Camp Winnarainbow.

"I was the president of an international not for profit trade business association. I understand the complexities of how a not-for-profit operates and so rather than declaring that it was going to the specific scholarship fund I invented the joy and Hope scholarship fund which is essentially going to be up to the discretion of the wonderful team at Camp Winnarainbow to determine where to put that GOOD where it WILL DO the MOST.

      Jack Grace, CECS/CESI

Jack Grace CECS/CESI is the past President of the International kitchen exhaust cleaning association, a not-for-profit trade association specializing in fire protection for commercial buildings. He is recognized as one of the foremost experts in the field in the world. His work presenting to fire inspectors and fire chiefs across the United States is a tribute to his commitment and dedication to his field. As a result of his work in the fire prevention industry he had exposure to a lot of things including asbestos that took a toll on his health. He was given a terminal diagnosis while living in New York City performing fire prevention work for such iconic buildings as freedom Tower, One world trade, four world trade, Chrysler building, empire State building, and of course his favorite client the BROOKLYN CHOP HOUSE. Upon hearing the news and living on the 5th floor of a five-floor walk-up which means no elevator, and losing the ability to walk, he made the decision to spend his end of life back in Tucson Arizona with his parents. Jack struggled with his health and lost the ability to walk for a time. The treatments he was given from the medical system made his quality of life unlivable. " When the treatment is worse than the sickness and there is no happiness and no joy in life, what is the point?"

While his career in fire prevention was forefront for the world to see there was quite a bit going on behind the scenes. He was involved with wavy gravy and Camp Winnarainbow as well as a number of projects that involved Humboldt County and legalization marijuana. Throughout his life Jack starting as a young child has faced multiple times when the medical system has told him he was going to die including his parents being told that he would never live past 13 and never walk. Believing in the value of medical marijuana and advocating for its use and legalization Jack was able to overcome a number of his health issues. When the final round of terminal diagnoses came and the medicine was just not working, Jack decided to switch entirely to Rick Simpson oil or RSO a highly concentrated form of medical marijuana that is illegal most places unfortunately because it saved his life. Jack regained the ability to walk and in spite of his severe PTSD from being beaten severely while protecting a young queer person who is being attacked in New York City, he was actually able to re-enter the workforce and was working as a budtender in Tucson Arizona. Jack had an incident of PTSD while at work and was terminated. He was subsequently denied his medical marijuana from the location but told he was welcome to go to another location even though he was having an active PTSD attack and a panic attack. Jack decided at that moment that he was going to symbolically die as the medical facility didn't care if he lived or died and he decided no one else did either. Jack Grace died the day he was denied medical marijuana and the facility has never apologized.

      BIG PAPA HUNDO

Jack Grace decided that instead of being Jack Grace who is DYING and no one cared, he was going to reborn as BIG PAPA HUNDO who is LIVING and dedicate the rest of his days to the mission of his hero mentor and friend the MC of WOODSTOCK Wavy Gravy and Wavy's incredible wife Jahanara Romney. After recovering from the PTSD incident that resulted in him losing his job he visited with Wavy and Jahanara to discuss with them his change of life, to tell them all the good that they have done for the world, to promise them that he was going to keep the flame bright for the force of peace and love and goodness in the universe.

As he promised Jahanara and Wavy, he is going to do everything in his power to make the world a little better every single day. He is going to put his good where it does the most. He is going to build up his mouth by kissing. He's going to get out of here knucklehead that he is, and go do the most good.

      HUMBOLDT LORAX CLOWN

Big Papa Hundo, formerly Jack Grace, has a long history with Humboldt County. Probably best not to talk about all of that right now but suffice to say he's deeply rooted in the culture and legalization movement..... A part of that is his love of the 4% of redwood forest that exists. 96% of our redwood forests are gone forever. It would take 2,000 years and a lot of land we no longer have to put it back so we've got to protect what we have. His environmental activism and direct community involvement have been a part of his life that he treasures. His recent activism work has included his move to Big Papa Hundo Island, an approximately mile-long Island in the middle of the eel River that sits on private property but was badly trashed. He works daily on cleaning up the island and creating ecoArt that is by its own nature something that is temporary and something that will not change or destroy the beauty of the environment in which it was found. Using natural materials collected and trash such as tires that were pulled from the river to create displays and educational installations on the island where he plans to give small walking tours starting in the springtime. Limited tours have been conducted but the work is just begun. For those who do not know the Eel River is extremely wild. The island itself is likely to be completely swallowed by the river during the high water season meaning that the entire project on the island will start anew when the water recedes.  He is very fond of the concept of temporary impact on the Earth and is quick to point out that "All of us are on the earth temporary we just conveniently forget that sometimes and that's unfortunate because it allows us to say and do things thinking that there are no consequences. I live my day everyday knowing that I'm past my expiration date and I'm lucky to be alive. I'm tired of serving the interests of the greedy and ready to serve the interest of the needy and I do every single day of my life now."

The moniker of Humboldt Lorax Clown was coined by Hundo to encapsulate the spirit of his environmental activism and provide a slightly more short people (kid) friendly version of his clown persona.

"I used to drive jungle Cruise boats in 1993 for Walt Disney world in Florida as in intern in the Disney University college program. I also ran the arcade and amusement center at New York New York hotel and casino called Coney Island emporium. I raised two kids, and made sure that they went to camp Winnarainbow when they were camper age and they both became teen staff and adult staff and have a lifetime connection and the best friends the world could ever ask for as a result and I'm so proud and pleased of my kids. I'm proud of all the kids, I love children but the topics I deal with as an activist and the Hell's Kitchen Manhattan seasoned mouth tend to be a 21 plus sort of a situation. I definitely can keep it at a duller roar around children but My work is for their future and the future of their kids kids kids.*

The Humboldt Lorax Clown persona is still Big Papa Hundo, just another layer of the onion that is being revealed

      Welcome to Big Papa Hundo

      Welcome to Big Papa Hundo

"Big Papa Hundo" is the persona of Jack Grace, a marijuana legalization activist, educator, and entertainer. He is also a survivor who credits medical marijuana (Rick Simpson Oil) with helping him through a terminal health diagnosis, which he developed after exposure to asbestos during his career in fire prevention services.

BPH Acronym: Big Papa Hundo uses the BPH acronym usually with a heart and fist bump logo or Star logo to represent Big Papa Hundo. This is also a Big Papa Hundo inside joke as he often says BPH or at least Be Phish a play on adding ish to something indicating at least a passive acceptance of the concept and also incorporating the name of the band PHiSH by simply adding a bit of passive acceptance to BPH.

Online Presence: He uses social media platforms like YouTube and Facebook to share his message and humor.

"Big Papa Hundo Island" is a location in Humboldt County, California, that appears to be associated with Jack Grace's (Big Papa Hundo) personal property and his "Grateful Living Intentional Community". It is featured as a stop on his "STILL ALIVE IN '25" tour schedule and is described as being near the Avenue of the Giants, specifically in the Phillipsburg area. The location may or  not be an actual physical "island" in the traditional sense, but rather an informal name for his community property, possibly situated near a river or in a somewhat isolated area consistent with the region's countercultural communities. The use of "island" may be a playful naming convention or a reference to its isolated nature "behind the redwood curtain" of Humboldt County. Information regarding public access or visiting requires checking his social media for specific pop-up events. The "Grateful Living Intentional Community," as framed by Bigpapahundo (Jack Grace), appears to be a developing or aspirational project in Humboldt County, California, intended to be a physical place embodying his values, rather than a widely-established or publicly-detailed community at this time. Key information points:

        • Location: It is situated on what Grace refers to as "Big Papa Hundo Island" in Humboldt County, on private property.
        • Mission: It seems to be a practical expression of his countercultural values, focusing on sustainable living, supporting local "legacy growers" in the cannabis industry, and fostering a lifestyle centered on "joy and hope" through community.
        • Status: It has been mentioned in his social media content as a real place that he has established, possibly as a homestead or small cooperative living situation.
        • Inspiration: The name "Grateful Living" aligns with the broader, more conceptual movement and non-profit organization (Grateful Living / grateful.org) that promotes a practice of living gratefully in one's daily life, which may be a philosophical inspiration for his community.
        • Vision: The community seems aligned with the general principles of intentional communities, which are groups of people who choose to live together with shared values and purpose, often focusing on shared resources, sustainability, and mutual support. It is part of his larger effort to make positive change and put his "good where it does the most".

In essence, while the philosophical concept of "Grateful Living" is a widely recognized practice, Bigpapahundo's specific "Grateful Living Intentional Community" is a localized, personal project in its early stages of development or a conceptual idea for a specific lifestyle, the details of which are primarily shared through his personal social media channels."Bigpapahundo" (Jack Grace) is the persona of a countercultural and medical marijuana activist, educator, and entertainer. His persona and activities encompass several key aspects:

        • He is recognized as a "Disciple of Gravy," carrying on the activism associated with Wavy Gravy.
        • In Humboldt County, he supports "legacy growers" and founded the "Grateful Living Intentional Community" on "Big Papa Hundo Island".
        • His unique personal brand draws from a varied background, including experience as a child actor, a skipper for Walt Disney World, and a fire prevention expert.
        • He maintains an active online presence on platforms like Instagram and TikTok, where he shares his activities and commentaryIn the context of the individual online personality "Big Papa Hundo" (Jack Grace), the acronym BPH primarily stands for Big Papa Hundo. However, the individual uses the acronym in a playful and multi-layered way, also suggesting it can be interpreted phonetically as:
        • "Be Ph": a play on the sound of the letters.
        • "Be Phish": an extension of the phonetic play.

This reflects the persona's humor and philosophy of living life fully and with commitment ("hundo p" or "hundred percent"), especially after recovering from a serious health condition using medical cannabis. Note that in a general medical context, BPH is a common acronym for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia, a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland, which is unrelated to the online persona's use of the term. The phrase "Disciple Of Gravy" is a specific concept associated with the online personality and cannabis advocate Big Papa Hundo (Jack Grace). It is not a general, common English phrase or a widespread slang term.Within Big Papa Hundo's personal brand and content, the term likely refers to:

        • A Personal Mantra/Philosophy: It embodies his unique lifestyle and mission, which revolves around environmental activism, promoting medical cannabis, and a general philosophy of peace and love.
        • An In-joke or Nickname: It is part of the specific lexicon he uses with his audience, building a shared history and community.
        • A Play on Words: It combines the serious term "disciple" (a learner or follower) with the informal, comforting term "gravy," perhaps suggesting a devoted following of a relaxed, positive, and abundant lifestyle. The word "gravy" itself sometimes means unearned or unexpected benefit (e.g., "it's all gravy").
        • A Nod to Pop Culture: "Big Papa" is a reference to The Notorious B.I.G., and "gravy" is an Italian-American colloquialism for tomato sauce (often used in the context of "Sunday Gravy"), which may connect to specific cultural references shared with his audience.

Ultimately, the term is unique to the persona of Big Papa Hundo and holds meaning within his specific community and content. The "Humboldt Lorax Clown" Persona: This carefully crafted identity is itself a piece of "life art," used to engage in social commentary and activism.

        • Storytelling and Advocacy: His major "work" involves transforming his personal medical journey into a compelling public narrative that challenges stigma and promotes social change, which is an artistic approach to activism.

        • Status: It is a physical living arrangement and gathering space, distinct from the large, global online non-profit organization named "A Network for Grateful Living" (Grateful.org).

In essence, it is a modern-day interpretation of an intentional community or commune, carrying on the tradition of creating alternative living spaces that promote shared responsibility, "grateful living," and a commitment to making the world better.Jack Grace served two terms as the President of the International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association (IKECA), from approximately 2012 to 2014. Wavy Gravy is known as a tie-dye-clad, psychedelic "clown" and cultural icon, while Bigpapahundo uses the self-described persona of the "Humboldt Lorax Clown." This use of persona serves to challenge traditional ideas of activism and make their messages more approachable and memorable.
        • Connection to Counterculture Movements: Wavy Gravy is a legendary figure from the 1960s counterculture movement, known for his role at the Woodstock festival. • Emphasis on Community Building: Both have actively created communities based on their values. The term DOG in relation to Big Papa Hundo and Wavy Gravy is an acronym meaning "Disciple Of Gravy". Big Papa Hundo, whose real name is Jack Grace, uses the acronym to describe his relationship with the counterculture icon Wavy Gravy (born Hugh Romney). Grace considers himself a faithful "disciple" dedicated to continuing the tradition of selfless service and charitable work, particularly supporting the causes Wavy Gravy founded, such as Camp Winnarainbow and the SEVA Foundation. "Big Papa Hundo" uses several common humorous elements in his posts to maintain his approachable and engaging persona:

        • The use of the word "gravy": He frequently employs "gravy" as a personal catchphrase, metaphor, and general term for things being good or positive ("livin' the gravy life," "all gravy"). This recurring, slightly unusual slang term creates a consistent, lighthearted brand identity.
        • Self-deprecating humor: His content often incorporates a healthy dose of self-awareness and self-deprecating humor. By not taking himself too seriously, even when discussing serious topics like health struggles or advocacy, he becomes more relatable and trustworthy to his audience.
        • A "laid-back" delivery style: His persona inherently leans into a relaxed, unhurried, and genuinely unbothered attitude. The humor is derived from this seemingly effortless "chill" approach to life and problem-solving, which often contrasts with the typical intensity of social media activism.
        • Relatable, everyday situations: He frequently takes mundane or everyday situations and adds a humorous spin. His commentary on navigating the world with his specific lifestyle and interests (e.g., getting a salad at a drive-thru, dealing with a cannabis dispensary policy) makes his content widely relatable and funny.
        •  juxtaposition of serious environmental or medical issues with his casual, "Big Papa Hundo" perspective creates an element of surprise that is often humorous.

        Big Papa Hundo

According to his writings, bigpapahundo (Jack Grace) believes that corporate greed is turning the cannabis industry into a "money machine with no heart," which threatens to crush small, boutique growers like those in Humboldt County.

Of his many colorful self coined expressions, big papa Hundo coined the specific term "greed weed," his opinions directly address the negative impacts of large-scale commercialization on legacy cannabis communities.Bigpapahundo's Stance on Corporate Cannabis
Jack Grace argues that the commercialization of cannabis has led to a market that prioritizes profit over patients and quality. His key concerns include:

        • The Rise of the "Money Machine": He criticizes licensed facilities that act as a "greedy money machine with no heart" by prioritizing recreational customers over the needs of medical patients.
        • Threat to Small Growers: Grace believes that "Big Corp" cannabis will inevitably "crush" smaller, boutique growers. He predicts that the mass consumer demand for cheap goods will allow large corporations to flood the market with "inferior" products and still make "obscene profits".

        Relevance to Humboldt County
Grace's views mirror the well-documented struggles of legacy cannabis growers in Humboldt County, who are facing intense pressure from corporate competition and regulation. The impacts on these growers include:

        • Economic Strain: Small, independent farmers in the Emerald Triangle are struggling to compete with mega-farms, with one Southern California operation reportedly producing more cannabis than all of Humboldt County combined in a single quarter.
        • Unfavorable Taxes: Tax structures created after legalization can disproportionately affect small-scale, sun-grown farms, putting them at a financial disadvantage compared to larger, energy-intensive indoor growers.
        • Loss of Culture: There is a concern that the "green rush" of large, money-focused operations is destroying the original culture of Humboldt County, which was built on producing a pure, high-quality product rather than just focusing on profit.
