News

In 2026, Big Papa Hundo (Jack Grace) maintains strong ties with several cultural and philanthropic icons, particularly those within the Grateful Dead and San Francisco counterculture legacy.

Here is the breakdown of his connection to those specific individuals:

1. Wavy Gravy

Wavy Gravy is arguably Big Papa Hundo’s most significant mentor and public supporter.

The "Disciple of Gravy": Hundo identifies as a "Disciple of Gravy," adopting Wavy’s philosophy of "Compassion in Action" and using humor (the clown persona) for social change.

The Seva Foundation: Hundo’s "New Kicks in '26" Tour is an official fundraising effort for the Seva Foundation, which Wavy Gravy co-founded.

Camp Winnarainbow: Hundo supports Wavy’s circus and performing arts camp through the "Grace & Joy Scholarship Fund," which helps underprivileged children attend.

2. Sister Roma

Sister Roma, a legendary member of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, shares an activist space with Hundo in San Francisco.

Queer Advocacy: Both are high-profile "glamorous clowns" in the Bay Area who use their personas to raise money for marginalized communities.

Collaborative Fundraising: While Roma is famous for her work with HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ rights, she has given nods to Hundo’s intersectional approach to cannabis advocacy and queer visibility in the Humboldt/Bay Area scene.

3. Melvin Seals

As the long-time keyboardist for the Jerry Garcia Band (JGB), Melvin Seals is a central figure in the community Hundo serves.

Benefit Events: Hundo’s philanthropic work often intersects with Melvin Seals & JGB performances at benefit concerts in Northern California, specifically those supporting healthcare and the "Grateful spirit".

Community Recognition: Seals and the JGB family have recognized Hundo’s efforts to maintain the "legacy of kindness" within the jam band community through his scholarship fund and humanitarian tours.

4. James St. James x 2

There are two prominent "James St. James" figures, but Hundo is most closely linked to the cannabis culture and media sphere.

Cannabis Media: Hundo has received nods from the cannabis-focused "James Loud Podcast" (often associated with James St. James in industry circles) for his activism regarding Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) and his "Humboldt Lorax" persona.

Club Kid Connection: In the broader performance art world, Hundo’s "clown-core" activism has been noted by the original Club Kid community (including James St. James of Party Monster fame) for its roots in radical self-expression and performance art.

I. The Shadows of the Emerald Triangle

In the fog-ricb ridges of Humboldt County, there lives an enigmatic man who has successfully existed between many layers of reality.

To the fire safety world of commercial kitchens, he was Jack Grace, a respected expert and former president of the International Kitchen Exhaust Cleaning Association.

Much like a modern Bruce Wayne, beneath the suit and the safety codes, he was Big Papa Hundo, an "intentionally well-kept secret" of the Emerald Triangle’s legacy culture.

For decades, Hundo watched the wheels of the cannabis world turn—laws appearing and vanishing like the tide, friends becoming prisoners, and medicine evolving by leaps and bounds. He didn't just grow plants; he curated a "Grateful Living Intentional Community," a sanctuary built on the humanitarian values he learned from his mentor, the legendary Woodstock MC Wavy Gravy.

II. The Clown and the Crisis

When the world began to close in on the plant he loved, Jack Grace donned his alter ego: the Humboldt Lorax Clown. Just as the Lorax spoke for the trees, Hundo spoke for the plant, blending absurd humor and "gravy" catchphrases with the dead-serious mission of social activism.

His greatest challenge arrived not from a local sheriff, but from across the ocean. News reached the Triangle that Jarred Shaw, an American professional basketball player, was facing "Death by Firing Squad" in an Indonesian prison for possessing 132 THC gummies—the very medicine he needed for his own health. Big Papa Hundo recognized his moment to emerge from the safety of his intentional anonymity was upon him and this he burst out of the closet red nose aglow and descended in his "Luck Dragon" upon the Mjbizcon in Las Vegas with his sights on the 30,000 attendees and a mission to Save JARRED SHAW.

III. The 132-Gummy Protest

While an incredible team including Donte West, John Morgan and the Las Prisoner project lobbied, Hundo acted.

In a daring act of "Medical Marijuana Miracle Making," he staged an ongoing #132protest that has aevolved into a modern marijuana legalization miracle.

Hundo timed a highly publicized sky jump from the 108th floor of the Stratosphere Tower which is the tallest building in Las Vegas and the tallest jump attraction of its kind in the world to coincide with the closing of the MJ bizcon Where he would have the attention of the 30,000 attendees in hopes of having sympathetic ears to hear the message and the mouths of people within the industry to tell the story and help to save Jarred Shaw. He made the jump on December 5th 2025 at exactly 7-Eleven p.m. 7-Eleven being a symbolic nod to his past in Las Vegas where he had an infamous hub of activism known as the 7-Eleven to those who were in the know. He swaggered out onto the 108th floor platform with a straight drop below to the Las Vegas strip with the confidence of a rockstar and addressed his audience directly, calling for Justice for Jarred Shaw, without missing a beat as he leapt off of 108th floor of a building and freefell down to the ground with the assistance of the world's largest commercial decelerator. Though he was falling at speeds of over 40 miles an hour he continued his lecture of his audience about saving Jarred Shaw, legalizing marijuana, putting your good where it does the most, and he even took time to shout out some of his supporters from the Emerald Triangle including dispensaries and growers who have in his opinion continued the legacy cannabis ethics and morals.

To demonstrate the absurdity of the death penalty for a plant, and to further prove the point that no harm could have come from anyone consuming what Jarred Shaw had and was facing the very real possibility of death by the firing squad for his treatment of his Crohn's disease, Hundo staged a protest move sponsored by Space Gem, a humboldt County marijuana candy manufacturer, he consumed exactly 132 gummies himself while simultaneously re-wiring his house, performing three musical sets, and running a full light show. He audio streamed and video streamed the event, noting that unfortunately his phone stopped working and only was able to display on its external screen so he continued his documentation and has continued his work since the Christmas Day protest operating on a screen the size of the average stoners lighter. He has been applauded vocally by supporters who are quick to point out that he has been extremely clear from the very beginning of the stunt that it was not something that should be replicated and that the average user should consume 2.5 to 5 mg of an edible not the 1,320 mg that he consumed. He is also quick to point out that as a medical marijuana patient he had consumed over 3,000 mg of THC a day at the peak of his illness and that his tolerance has never returned to the average user level and so he is not wanting to be a model to be emulated, rather he points out that you wouldn't want his level of tolerance because you wouldn't want the sicknesses and threat of death hanging over your head that come with the need for medical marijuana. His unique ability to connect to any audience of any age or demographic has proven a vital voice in the marijuana legalization movement, with his outspoken delivery and pinchant to place his own personal safety and well-being on the line in order to help his fellow humans.

Through his Instagram main platform where he launched in July 2025 with the zero followers and has in the past 5 months grown to over 32,000 followers actively engaged in his lessons about medical marijuana and the abuses of the legal system that result in unfair punishment for victimless crimes and are especially harsh on those minorities and the medical marijuana patients that are stigmatized and traumatized and often incarcerated as a result of their desire to be healthy. His more recently launched Facebook account that he opened somewhere around October of 2025 has rapidly become another rallying point for thousands of supporters and interested parties wanting to learn about his messages and share the joy of his existence.

Big Papa Hundo continues his reach into the cold harsh and unforgiving darkness of the Indonesian prison system, sending messages of hope to Shaw and rallying the "Tribe" to provide hope, joy, laughter, and inspiration to Shaw to give him occasional repreive from the athlete’s dire circumstances.

"You know I haven't asked him but I suspect that if one year ago today I would have approached Jarred Shaw, a striking 7 ft tall basketball superstar who is an incredible athlete who was shot down in his prime and in prisoned in a harsh unforgiving circumstance, If I would have approached him with my big red nose and even more so if I had Grace the queer imaginary real banana slug in hand, I highly doubt he would say Ya know, If I'm ever in trouble facing the firing squad for marijuana here's the guy that I want to make a whole bunch of noise for me... No of course he didn't because nobody would ever suspect that they would treat their illness with a medication that is recognized worldwide and also has been for the past 100 years demonized and unfairly stigmatized... And you know what That's the same the sort of humorous indifference that I often encounter when engaging with new people which I do every single day and it doesn't trouble me in the slightest because no matter who they are, no matter what they came from, no matter what their life circumstances, no matter the color of their skin, no matter their sexual orientation, no matter their degree of ability or disability, I would lay my life on the line to fight to make sure that they were not forgotten and that they were not going to be alone. It's a reminder that everyone you meet has value and a story and worries and fears and hopes and we're all the same person trying to shake hands with ourself is what wavy gravy says... I embrace that philosophy with my entire existence and so it doesn't trouble me when I approach someone to share conversation and hopefully to be able to educate them a little bit on the causes that I believe in and that person thinks that I'm hustling to sell them something or being paid for what I do. I don't sell anything. I don't ask anyone for anything. My new kicks auctions help me to keep the dire task of fundraising encapsulated into specific events rather than begging dollars from everyone I meet which what I have found is that when reaching to either protect or produce their wallet the first thing that happens is the ears shut off and it's not worth the dollar or two that I could put in my pocket to not have my message heard. Don't just give me a dollar to shut me up and make me go away. I'm not asking you for money I'm asking for your time and your consideration of a differing point of view or to teach you about something that you might not have known about otherwise. That has kept my interactions pure of purpose and intent and even when I met with anger, violence, or apathy, it doesn't trouble me and I know in my heart that even someone who was aggressive towards me or not interested in the message Is someone that I would fight for in the exact same manner as I would for anyone else "

IV. The Long View

As 2025 drew to a close, Hundo has closed the book on his still alive in 25 tour where he featured his triple jumpers joy and hope that made three jumps off the stratosphere Tower and will be auctioned off for camp Winnarainbow January 31st 2026 which coincides with his daughter's 30th birthday. His daughter Miracle Cassidy Rosso (formerly Grace) was a camper, then teen staff, then adult staff for the camp founded by Wavy Gravy and his wife Jahanara Romney. Of the many things that we know about Big Papa Hundo, who is clearly full of surprises and not showing his entire hand, Is that it appears everything that he says or does as a form of his life art as he calls it, contains multiple layers of meaning that would be perfectly obvious to those who understood the reference but would be completely lost on those who are not a part of the inside joke or message. He has a unique ability to operate on multiple levels with his message being clear and on the surface but his mastery of communication and his poetic use of language reveal layer upon layer of messages and meanings beyond that which is readily apparent. His timing of the auction for the camp where his daughter was an integral part for over a dozen years founded by his mentor and role model Wavy Gravy to coincide with his daughter's 30th birthday it's just one example of how he seamlessly combines seemingly disparate elements creating alliances and agreements from parties and elements that would seem unlikely bedfellows.  Big Papa Hundo the Humboldt Lorax Clown engaged in his New Kicks in '26" Tour, a journey designed to keep the momentum of the legalization movement alive. It is a celebration of the 1960s hippie movement ideals brought into the digital age by this unexpected Bruce Wayne turned Batman figure.

Hundo has remained strong as a powerful guardian of the "old ways" - talking openly about pre legalization marijuana culture and the previously interpersonal interactions that would afford one the privilege of enjoying the medicinal or recreational benefits of the plant have been bulldozed by the quick service mentality of what he considers to be greedy interests. He specifically points to one organization that he refers to as greed weed, the organization refused to serve a state licensed medical patient in their state licensed medical marijuana facility for their own convenience arrogance and ultimately to their detriment . The dispensary further made their situation more dire and became the ridicule of the internet for their stance of simply ignoring Big Papa Hundo, making the foolish bet that no one would listen to him or care that a medical marijuana patient was refused access to medical marijuana from a state license facility. Big Papa Hundo will be presenting to the Arizona department of health services which oversees the medical marijuana program in Arizona calling for an end to the license for the dispensary and for a public outcry of their outrageous actions and inhumane treatment of a medical marijuana patient. He is indicated that there will be a large scale highly publicized with national media attention protest to occur in Tucson Arizona on 4th Avenue that will march to the door of the dispensary in question with over a thousand attendees already committed to making the march with Big Papa Hundo.

"For the past 4 months they have done nothing other than ignore my calls my emails and even the medical director of the facility who theoretically is a licensed doctor of some sort hasn't been able to call back the medical patient who was refused care to even check and see if they were doing okay. Nothing. This is a greedy selfish disgusting organization run by greedy disgusting individuals in my opinion. They said that they were going to return the phone call when they return from their Hawaiian vacation and apparently four months later they're still on that vacation because you know what they don't call they don't write they don't do anything because they don't care because they are agreed weed and the world is going to know about it."

Big Papa Hundo meanwhile is actively advocating for the "Last Prisoner Project" and reminding the world that while regulations may change, the plant has been working on its own plan far longer than any human.

"For the past hundred years our society has had the egg on their face for working against nature and politicizing a plant. We all know that the lies that were told about the plant and the demonization under the reefer madness mentality has left a scar and many older Americans simply don't understand that they were lied to until they have a grave medical condition and they come to me and they say that they would like to learn how to try to manage their own health. I give them the instruction and give them my best advice. I don't sell them anything I don't ask them for anything. What I give is Seva. What they do with it is up to them This is just my advice and opinion. I can report that 100% of the individuals that I've given recommendations and suggestions to have reported positive outcomes and have been grateful. To me that's enough."

In the heart of the Emerald Triangle in Northern California, the Humboldt Lorax Clown had dug in, moving from his Eco Camp where he lives with no power electricity running water or food due to the two bears that live nearby, moving the base of his operations to Redway California, just a few paces from the KMUD Radio studios where he Is rumored to be preparing for a regular broadcast spot on the radio. He has dubbed this place and project the BPH Compound where he has been working to restore a 100 year old Church he calls the Limelight Humboldt. Through his social media it was revealed that original New York City club kid James St James is aware of the project that is named in honor of the original Limelight in New York City.

"The Limelight represents something very unique in American history. This was the evolution from disco's into the clubs that we know today. It involved bringing in elements that would otherwise not have a voice. Hip hop had its voice at the Limelight, the club kids sure had their voice at the Limelight and kept it really colorful, though the whole murder thing is something that is a hot no at Limelight Humboldt.." jokes Hundo

Even now in the quiet post holiday lull while much of the world recovers from their holiday celebrations and possible excesses, the enigmatic Big Papa Hundo the Humboldt Lorax Clown still speaks, his laughter a reminder that even in the fight for freedom, you must always leave room for the "gravy". We don't know how many tricks that Batman has since we have mostly seen Bruce Wayne, but what Jack Grace has demonstrated already is something that is keeping the world watching and as he bursts into his new kicks in 26 tour for 2026 he is definitely a person that we will be watching because we know he's going to put on an incredible life show.

The name "Big Papa Hundo" is an online handle and persona primarily used by a specific individual who is a cannabis advocate and entertainer. The name has a few likely origins:

  • "Big Papa": This part of the name likely references the famous song "Big Poppa" by the late rapper The Notorious B.I.G., where "Big Poppa" is one of his many nicknames. It's a term often associated with influence or a dominant, affectionate figure in hip-hop culture.
  • "Hundo": This term is slang for "hundred" or "hundred percent". In the context of this specific individual's work, it likely has multiple meanings:
    • "100%" commitment: It could signify a "100%" commitment to his activism, educational efforts, and living life fully, especially after surviving a health crisis where he attributes his recovery to medical marijuana.
    • Cannabis potency: "Hundo" is used in the cannabis industry to refer to a specific concentration, such as 100mg THC products. Given his role as a cannabis activist, this connection is very probable.

The full name combines popular cultural reference points and slang to create a memorable persona that reflects the individual's mission and association with the cannabis community

Hello

NEWS FROM THE TOUR

hey you big stoner

What's up what's up with Big Papa Hundo

In addition to his strong online presence, Big Papa Hundo promotes his message through various in-person interactions and other channels that align with his counterculture values:

  • In-person Interactions: His activism relies heavily on direct human connection. He engages with people at informal gatherings and public spaces, which he terms "pop-up activism events" as part of his "Still ALIVE in '25 TOUR". These interactions involve sharing his personal story and philosophy directly.
  • Public Speaking and Education: He provides education on cannabis as a medicine, particularly Rick Simpson Oil (RSO), by sharing his own journey of survival. This educational advocacy happens in both formal and informal settings.
  • Community Involvement: His message is integrated into his active participation in the Humboldt community. This likely includes involvement in local counterculture events, environmental initiatives, and the arts, though specific event names are not consistently public.
  • Charitable Work and Fundraising: He promotes his message by associating it with charitable actions, such as fundraising for Camp Winnarainbow. This demonstrates a commitment to "joyful service" and "communal responsibility" beyond just words.
  • Professional Expertise: As an expert in fire prevention, Jack Grace has also participated in professional conferences and discussions, using his platform to make networking easier and connect with others in the industry.
  • Potential for Traditional Media: While his focus is mainly digital, general marketing principles suggest that individuals like him may eventually use or be featured in traditional print or radio ads/interviews as part of a broader "marketing mix" for outreach.

His methods emphasize authentic connection, personal storytelling, and practical application of his counterculture philosophy in daily life and community engagement. "Still ALIVE in '25 TOUR" is the personal, ongoing project and theme used by Big Papa Hundo to promote his message of resilience, positive activism, and the health benefits of Rick Simpson Oil (RSO) following his own survival from serious health issues. It is a metaphorical and actual "tour" of his life and his continued advocacy.Purpose and Philosophy

  • Celebrating Survival: The core message of the "tour" is a celebration of life and a testament to his survival, which he attributes to RSO. The name itself reflects his continued presence and activism in 2025.
  • Advocacy and Education: Through the "tour," he aims to raise awareness and educate people about cannabis as a medicine and the importance of patient rights.
  • Joyful Service: The tour aligns with his philosophy of "joyful service" and "positive activism," turning his personal journey into a public platform for helping others and spreading a message of hope.

Events and Activities Rather than a conventional music tour with fixed dates and venues, the "Still ALIVE in '25 TOUR" involves:

  • Pop-up activism events: These are informal gatherings and appearances where he shares his story and engages with people.
  • Online engagement: He uses social media platforms like Instagram to share updates, philosophy, and connect with a global community of supporters and individuals interested in alternative medicine and counterculture.
  • Community interaction: The tour allows him to connect with the counterculture community, reinforcing his "Love All, Serve All" motto and emphasizing communal responsibility.

The "Still ALIVE in '25 TOUR" is less about a traditional performance schedule and more about Big Papa Hundo's continuous, public commitment to his counterculture values and sharing his personal journey with the world.

Big Papa Hundo continues to be active in his large scale EcoArt projects including his recently revealed Anti Hard Drug protest EcoArt protest piece M3TH8373@TH837 that will utilize parts of a bedframe where an addict took his last breath to celebrate the GOOD man he was and call out the SCOURGE OF HARD DRUGS THAT DESTROYED HIM.  Big Papa Hundo as the HUMBOLDT LORAX CLOWN will highlight efforts from the post fire investigation and environmentally responsible cleanup big Papa Hundo and the Grateful Living Intentional Community he founded now must accomplish. Big Papa Hundo wants to educate and evoke strong emotion through his provacative art. Generally his works are elusive by design. Big Papa Hundo is masterful at appearing with a circus efficiency, creating a show, making an impact, and vanishing on to next project prior to most ever seeing the art created and the art itself designed to become a part of the ecosystem.

"The hard drug protest piece is going to be a little different than the regular eco-art. While it is upcycled it is not designed to be re-entered into nature as it's a natural disaster. This is the result of a sick person who needed help to get well that instead had a tragic accident with hard drugs that resulted in his life being taken in the most horrific way. Every image of hellfire comes to mind when I investigated that scene and came upon the clues that told me that this man died in his own bed trying to get one more hit. It could have been any single one of us that have ever come into an encounter with hard drugs. When hard drugs are in the community, there's always a risk. A person can inadvertently be exposed and the consequences can be terrible. This community has to take on the burden of the expense of time and labor to clean a terrible mess that threatens the forest and the waterways, this community has lost a resident, and this community needs to face the reality of hard drugs and their impact. To just throw these things away is throwing away an opportunity to save someone else." - Big Papa Hundo

Welcome to Big Papa Hundo

"Bigpapahundo" is an activist and humanitarian figure who is notably using his platform to advocate for Jarred Shaw, a former American professional basketball player sentenced to prison in Indonesia for cannabis possession. Shaw was arrested in May 2025 after a package containing 132 THC-infused gummies was intercepted. He has Crohn's disease and stated the cannabis was for personal medical use to manage chronic pain, but the items are strictly illegal in Indonesia. He initially faced potential charges that could have resulted in the death penalty or life imprisonment. Bigpapahundo, along with other advocates like criminal justice advocate Donte West and attorney John Morgan, has been instrumental in raising awareness, gathering public support, and assisting with the legal defense to prevent the harshest penalties. Their efforts have focused on highlighting the medical necessity of the cannabis for Shaw's condition and the disproportionate severity of Indonesia's drug laws. In December 2025, a significant update in the case was the announcement that Shaw was sentenced to 26 months in prison for drug possession, with the judge not applying more severe drug trafficking enhancements that carried the death penalty or life sentence. This outcome was viewed as a "victory" by his advocates, including Donte West, though efforts continue to seek his safe return to the US through diplomatic channels. NYE 2025 MESSAGE

#132Protest 🧡 BPH 👊🏻 🏳️‍🌈 🏳️‍🌈

DECEMBER 25, 2025 UPDATE

Yes we heard from JARRED SHAW TODAY🎅🏻

I might have a broken phone and it may not be fixed until New Year's or after but I'll still keep you updated as best I can. Successfully completed eating 132 10mg medical marijuana gummies today supplied for the #132Protest by Space Gem marijuana edibles from HUMBOLDT COUNTY.

BIG PAPA HUNDO STARTED consuming the 132 gummies at 12:02 am December 25, 2025 and finished at 4:20 pm.

He is perfectly fine and super happy and reporting no issues. Please remember Big Papa Hundo is a medical marijuana patient of many years and does NOT ENDORSE OR CONDONE anyone trying to replicate this stunt which was done to highlight the injustices of cannabis incarceration and the harmless nature of the plant.

Big Papa Hundo reminds you that a 2 mg to 5 mg dose of an edible is more than sufficient for most users. 10 mg is considered a very strong dose for the average user. The amount that Big Papa Hundo consumed was 1320 mg today. During his treatment with concentrated Rick Simpson oil, a full spectrum cannabis oil extract, he was taking 3,000 mg a day. There is nothing recreational about medical dosages.

Medical marijuana is not an excuse to get high and medical marijuana users are highly functional not just high.

Big Papa Hundo spent his protest day consuming his 132 Gummies while redoing the electric for his house performing three sets of music and a full light show, continuing his work reaching out to Jarred Shaw who was able to get the message across from prison in Indonesia today that he is enjoying hearing from all of you and Big Papa Hundo is please to be able to provide some distraction from his dire circumstance in Indonesia.

Again after eating 132 gummies, the same quantity for which Jarred Shaw am AMERICA professional basketball player was facing Death By The firing squad being held over his head for the past 7 months while incarcerated and kept from his life-saving medication and all of those he loves.

It's time to end the unfair incarceration of all marijuana prisoners and that certainly includes our federal government right here in the United States who is holding prisoners of a failed drug war during a time when a 21-year-old citizen can walk into a state licensed dispensary and the federal government is fully aware that this is going on. How can you both ignore a huge operating business within the United States and turn a blind eye and act like rescheduling makes any sense when there are full license dispensaries that have been existing for a decade or more.... How can you pretend like the genie's not out of the bottle people?

All that's doing is hurting the legacy farmers and allowing big pharma and millionaires and billionaires to go to vacation while the legacy growers in the Emerald Triangle are getting lawn mowed by the vicious blades of trying to come into the light and do the right thing.

How can you expect the very individuals that are responsible for the industry and on who's backs legalization occurred and have made every sacrifice to try to play by the rules meanwhile watching their entire livelihoods get taken from them to be thrilled at this non-move by the government. Schedule 3 schedule 2 schedule 1 .... It doesn't matter If I want to go and visit my parents in the state of Arizona I have to throw all my medicine away at the border and buy new how can I afford to go travel if I have to leave my medicine at the border or risk being arrested?

And what if I go to a state like Texas or Idaho where my medication is not allowed. What if I accidentally have a couple of gummies in my pocket Am I going to be facing the firing squad next or life in prison?

The sad truth is that in 2025 going into 2026 yes I could damn well face that depending on where I am. What if I get on an airplane and I had to joint in my pocket I forgot about. Then I get labeled in international drug smuggler and I'm spending the rest of my life in prison while nobody even knows that I'm across the ocean screaming out from my fellow Americans to pay attention?

It's a hot no people. I've lived through the time when my very identity in every possible way was illegal immoral or unethical somehow. I was queer. I was a medical marijuana patient. As a young male in the 1980s who was also a child actor, and let me tell you the interview process back then was hot lot... Not pretty not pretty at all hindsight is 20/20 and there are quite a few things in my hindsight that I wish my hind wasn't in site of. Anywho....

So I grew up with the diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders DSM3R which I was presented in my high school psychology class boldly and proudly told me that being a homosexual was a mental disorder and so I was absolutely unacceptable. It was also acceptable in that time of history that if you were gay you were going to get beat up because they needed to beat the gay out of you.

The rapid and rabid paranoia surrounding the AIDS crisis which was originally considered gay related immune disorder or grid, permanently demonized homosexual men painting them as vectors of disease that would be capable of killing simply by sitting on the same toilet seat as you. Luckily through our wisdom we learned that those little paper hats that are next to the toilet are the answer so as long as a homosexual puts a little piece of paper down before they place their homosexual bottom on the toilet then straight people won't get AIDS. That's what I grew up with. That's what I lived with. There was no internet. There were no smartphones. There were no cell phones for crying out loud. We didn't even have pagers.

Everything that I learned and everything that I read and the Three television stations that you could catch if the rabbit ears were aligned properly those of you who are old enough know and those of you who are not should look that one up because the world has changed because some of us have stood up and fought for the rights of others and some of us have refused to be quiet even though our screens of our phones are broken and the odds are against us.

Some of us have had to have the resilience to be laughed in our face and told that the medicine that we need is just an excuse to get high. I'm sorry people but there's nothing recreational about 3,000 mg of THC. There's nothing recreational about 1,320 mg of THC that I took today in protest to show that it wasn't going to hurt me.

As you can see I'm perfectly lucid and capable of quite a bit. Medical marijuana patients are highly functional not just high.

Sorry Cheech and Chong you know I love you and you know I love everything you've done for this movement and I think you're freaking hysterical. The issue that I take with you and I look forward to making Big Papa Hundo videos with you where we can lampoon this and send a new generation a new message. Much like the character of Big Poppa Hundo The humboldt Lorax clown who is by character design mirroring the original Lorax by being explicitly loud and exceptionally annoying. He's constantly there bugging you He's in your ear He's relentless. He's a character. So too are Cheech and Chong. Their character is an exaggeration of the stoner stereotype of couch lock. We've all been there We all know there's a thing but we also know that functional stoners and especially medical marijuana patients such as myself have to take their medicine and still have to get things done.

This is why we need real conversation about marijuana because it's hard enough to have medical problems that require a medical dosage of a substance that at smaller dosages is actually really really really really really really really really really really really really really really great and I totally recommend recreational marijuana by the way....

But it's hard enough having a medical condition that requires medical doses of the plant without having to also worry that your medication might end you up in jail or in front of a firing squad.

I look forward to seeing all of you live in Las Vegas April 18th 2026 at 4:20 p.m. when I jump off the stratosphere Tower and when Jarred Shaw is going to be watching All of you out there waving and showing solidarity. When all of the marijuana prisoners are going to have their eyes on you to watch you raise your hands in the air for solidarity as Big Papa Hundo turn superstar kicks Peace and love into jumpers. They will be auctioned off for Jared Shaw October 31st 2026 at an event that I know you're going to love.... I mean I checked and it seems safe enough just saying..

announcing the 132 protest to bring Jarred shaw home

BIG PAPA HUNDO announces THE 132 PROTEST to raise awareness of MEDICAL MARIJUANA and JARRED SHAW.

JARRED SHAW is an AMERICAN professional basketball player who has incurable Chrons disease.

In order to treat his condition he, like millions of others, chose to use MEDICAL Marijuana.

Tragically he was painfully unaware that the drug laws in Indonesia were so incredibly harsh and he had purchased 132 medical marijuana gummies that were for the treatment of his Chrons disease.

In May of 2025 he was arrested by the Indonesian authorities and jailed. He was labeled as a drug dealer and facing DEATH BY FIRING SQUAD for 132 gummies.

Most people in the United States are unaware any of this occured... Most upsetting is that BUDTENDERS, MARIJUANA PROFESSIONALS, and others in the industry are completely in the dark about what I firmly believe was the biggest issue in the Marijuana world in 2025.

I felt so strongly that I went to Las Vegas for the MJBizCon in December 2025 and connected with fellow activists and advocates producing videos and handing out documents about JARRED SHAW to try to get enough INTERNATIONAL pressure attempting to keep the public eye on this case so that JARRED SHAW was NOT EXECUTED while no one was watching.

It was my intention that if this nation attempted to execute this American citizen, it was not going to be unnoticed or unopposed.

On Friday December 5th I jumped from the stratosphere Tower screaming out for Jarred to try to get the world to notice.

I did not rest. I took hundreds of pamphlets and leaflets and handmade signs and spent the next days first walking the entire length of the strip telling everyone about JARRED SHAW facing the DEATH PENALTY and asking please to sign the petition and/or contribute to the GoFundMe if they were able.

Considering that the biggest crowd in town at that time was the National final rodeo it was not exactly the friendliest or most welcoming crowd but I didn't care because who better to get on our side than those who might not otherwise consider saving a human being for being murdered for marijuana.

Murder for marijuana is the most ludicrous concept I can think of. Marijuana prohibition has led to a situation where the plant has been demonized and its users have been demonized and those of us who are medical marijuana users and have benefited from the plant are sick of being stigmatized, marginalized, incarcerated, harassed, and made the butt of jokes worldwide.

I spent the next 50 hours in my car going from Las Vegas back to Humboldt County stopping everywhere and talking to everyone I could because the risk of Jarred Shaw being handed the death penalty loomed.

I could not sleep, I could not take my rest. I could not believe that the world was not as outraged as I was and I was hurt by the nonchalant attitude of some of the folks I met along the way who said things like he was getting what he deserved.

No. HOT NO.

WHAT JARRED SHAW DESERVES is to be returned safely home so that he can get medical care. The government of Indonesia has already acknowledged that he has an incurable medical condition. We have already established that he made a mistake and he's sorry and he absolutely will not do it again. So why put a 7 ft tall man in a prison designed for 6 ft tall men and deny him access to his medication when you know that this is a sick man? Why hold him when he is not going to remain in your country? What is it proving to anyone other than you are being heartless and cruel and holding him for even one second longer. Everyday Jarred Shaw is in prison It is a living nightmare for him and his mother and all of us who love him.

We want true justice for Jarred Shaw.

Yes we are all thrilled that he is no longer facing the death penalty but that's not enough and if we stop now and we shut up now and we stop using our voices now he's going to sit in that prison where anything terrible could happen to him and where he is not getting the medical care the love or the support that he needs.

To err is human. To forgive is divine. Please Indonesian government. Please recognize that he has been tortured long enough and he never intended to hurt anyone.

As a medical marijuana patient when I was at my most challenging time I had taken 3,000 mg of concentrated THC daily.

132 gummies is 1,320mg.

I was taking almost triple this amount....

132 gummies cannot kill anyone. It would make someone of a low tolerance or normal tolerance or even extreme tolerance not feel the greatest, remember medical marijuana is not recreational. There was nothing recreational about 3,000 mg of THC It just sucked but it worked.

1,320 mg of THC isnt scary. Death by the firing squad is scary.

I'm going to prove to the world that those gummies and JARRED SHAW are harmless and holding him in prison when we know and have established that he is sick is a humanitarian nightmare that the Indonesian government can end in one second by sending him home and we call upon the Indonesian government to please return JARRED SHAW.

AS AN ACT OF PROTEST AND SOLIDARITY I have arranged with Space Gems, A wonderful Humboldt County brand of marijuana gummies, to obtain 132 gummies that I will consume over the course of a day to show that there is absolutely no harm that this package could do or could have done that comes close to the harm and the damage being done by holding JARRED SHAW in prison.

I will post the entire event where I will lock myself in to the BPH compound, where I have a bedroom and a bed for Jarred Shaw that will remain available for as long as the compound stands, on my various social media sites.

As I take this medication I will be performing music which we are anticipating an internet connection to be ready by Friday that will be fast enough to stream from the compound, currently we are relying on cell phone service only which is why you have seen less updates lately as we can only get service sporadically in the Redwoods...

The exact date of the event will be published and we will be attempting to stream both video to prove that this event did occur as well as doing a live stream of the music and possibly a video stream of the light show that BIG PAPA HUNDO will be performing at Limelight Humboldt within the compound gates.

I want to be extremely clear from the very get-go that the only reason I would even consider such a stunt Is that I've had the personal experience of taking over a thousand milligrams of THC in one shot and let me tell you there's nothing recreational about it it's purely medical and as anybody who's taken a bit too much of an edible knows, it can get a hot lot wibbly-woo real fast.

IN clear terms - DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CONSUME LARGE DOSES OF CANNABIS and this dose is an extreme dose and not a suggestion that anyone should ever repeat of emulate this action. This is purely an act of protest against harsh sentences for victimless non violent crimes and to raise awareness.

We do not endorse anyone else attempting this.

For a regular consumer of Medical or Recreational Marijuana we would recommend starting at a dose around 2.5 mg to 5 mg.

There's a lot of difference between 2.5mg and 1320 mg - DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS STUNT AT HOME!

IT IS OUR BELIEF that this stunt is controversial enough to generate conversation and attention to the case of JARRED SHAW. We fully anticipate criticism and negative feedback regarding our methodology but that is not going to stop us because we're going to do whatever it takes to keep JARRED SHAW in the public eye.

This stunt is going to be pushed heavily through social media and our agent in Thailand where the marijuana gummies that JARRED SHAW faced the FIRING SQUAD DEATH PENALTY for and still sits in an Indonesia. Prison without proper healthcare, family, or friends... Save for HERO DONTE WEST who has been in Indonesia with Jarred Shaw and to whom I personally thank for saving JARRED SHAW from the DEATH PENALTY.

This stunt is designed to be a high impact message that a man is in prison for something harmless. A crime without victims. This stunt is aimed at an international audience moreso than the United States as we believe that International pressure and attention will be the best chance for Jarred Shaw as the current administration of the United States has FAILED to step in to help Jarred.

With enough support, with enough voices, with international scrutiny of the inhumane conditions that Jarred Shaw must endure suffering needlessly at the hands of the Indonesian Authorities.

WE CALL UPON YOU to sign the petition and please fund the GoFundMe established by HERO DONTE WEST.

Furthermore I ask you to BOYCOTT ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE ORIGINATING IN INDONESIA, BOYCOTT ANY TRAVEL TO INDONESIA, AND PLEASE STAND WITH JARRED SHAW TO BRING HIM HOME.
